The SnapLyte Econo LED™ backlit display lightbox is our newest duratrans lightbox model and boy are we excited about it! There's a very wide and clear opening in the lightboxes market for this new, economical LED-powered lightbox, and it's right where our Customers are gathering to find an inexpensive, US-made LED lightbox – but not only that – an LED lightbox that is DIRECT-BACKLIT!
Blue River Digital offers the widest and most aggressively-priced line of LED lightboxes that are EDGElit, and we'll stand behind that statement all the way to the bank. But many customers are beginning to ask for LED lightboxes that are DIRECT-backlit, not just edgelit. The reason for this is simple: the potential brightness of a direct-backlit lightbox is always greater than that of an edgelit lightbox, for the simple reason of physics: Direct-backlighting a translucent graphic film produces light waves that travel directly from the light source, through the graphic, and to your eye. No scattering, no light bounce, no bending required!
Dollar for dollar, the SnapLyte Econo LED lightbox is brighter than any comparably lamped edgelit lightbox on the market, no contest! Plus, you lose the "edge glow" artifact inherent in all edgelit lightboxes, because there's no concentration of lamps along the perimeter edges of your display. But we didn't stop here. Since we were designing the SnapLyte Econo LED from the ground up, we decided on an all-aluminum frame for lightweight and durability, without "breaking the bank". We also wanted to provide an internal power supply, because most edgelit lightboxes are only available with only an external one, and the internal power supply gives you more flexibility for a clean installation.
Lastly we decided to offer an exhaustive lineup of 33 standard sizes from 12 x 18" up to 48 x 72", all with UL-listed electrical components, and top it all off by hand-crafting each SnapLyte Econo LED lightbox to order in just a few days, right here in our California fab!
