Standard acrylic is a conventional, clear hardened polymer resin that is popular as protective lens material in performance-grade lightboxes due to its hardness and life expectancy, although not as impact-resistant as Polycarbonate, and therefore not ideal for outdoor and tamper-resistant applications.
